What is National English Honor Society?

Founded in 2005, National English Honor Society is one of the fastest growing academic societies for secondary schools. The NEHS motto, “gelast sceal mid are,” is Old English for “duty goes with honor.” The NEHS recognizes the academic achievements of high school students and aims to promote a continued interest in the language arts throughout their four years. Our mission, as a chapter of the NEHS at Ardrey Kell High School, is to build a community of top students who engage in culturally and academically enriching experiences, increasing personal growth through service and leadership.
